Tax-to-GDP ratio expected to improve by 0.4 percentage points

The government expects to improve the tax-to-GDP ratio by 0.4 percentage points in 2026, reaching 24.9%, finance minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at a joint parliamentary committee hearing on the government’s 2026 budget bill. 

"Based on this year's results, we expect 24.5%, and we will see an improvement of 0.4 percentage points in 2026, reaching 25.1% by 2027," Hovhannisyan said.
