Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure to have 12% budget increase next year

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure will be allocated 325.095 billion drams from the state budget for 2026, which is 36 billion drams, or 12%, more than the amount allocated for 2025.
"The increases are mainly due to a number of infrastructure projects, such as ongoing and upcoming construction works on the southern section of the North-South Highway," finance minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at a joint parliamentary committee hearing on the government’s 2026 budget bill.
