EU visa liberalization talks proceeding swiftly, says Armenian FM

The visa liberalization process between Armenia and the European Union is progressing quite quickly, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said on Monday. 

"The process is progressing quite quickly, faster than it has in the case of many other countries. And I hope that in the near future, we will see an agreed-upon plan of action, after which we will just need to complete the necessary work to achieve visa liberalization," the Armenian foreign minister said at a parliamentary committee hearing on the 2026 budget bill.
