French Embassy in Armenia expresses condolences over death of Aïda Aznavour-Garvarentz

The French Embassy in Armenia has expressed condolences over the death of Aïda Aznavour-Garvarentz.

“The French Embassy in Armenia was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Aïda Aznavour-Garvarentz. An artist, elder sister of Charles Aznavour, and guardian of the family's memory. She was an eyewitness to  Armenian and French life for a century. We extend our deepest condolences to her family,” the embassy said in a statement.
