Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan believes that the South Caucasus can play a crucial role in connecting Europe with Central Asia.
“Today, I am joining my colleagues from the European Union, the wider Black Sea region, as well as Central Asia, to discuss ways to foster stronger resilience, more security, and connectivity through cross-regional cooperation,” Foreign Minister Mirzoyan told reporters at the launch of the ministerial meeting in Luxembourg.
"The fact that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the two countries are discussing the opening of communications and transport infrastructure brings the additional, significant potential, as our region can play a crucial role in connecting Europe with Central Asia," Mirzoyan said.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is on a working visit to Luxembourg. Mirzoyan is participating in the ministerial meeting on "Interregional Security and Interconnectivity" organized by the European Union.
