As part of his working visit to Luxembourg, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a readout.
The parties discussed opportunities to expand bilateral partnership through mutual visits and deeper cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Mirzoyan and Popșoi also exchanged views on European integration issues, emphasizing their readiness to share best practices for the effective implementation of existing tools.
The sides exchanged views on the challenges faced in democratic development and on mechanisms for overcoming them. Popșoi presented Moldova’s experience in holding elections, including efforts to counter hybrid threats and disinformation, as well as to strengthen institutional capacities in this regard.
