Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has emphasized the importance of innovation and embracing change in the field of education.
The President made the remarks during the opening ceremony of the Academic City: International Knowledge Forum in Yerevan, referring to the economists who won the 2025 Nobel Prize.
“The Nobel Committee has reminded the world that economic progress depends not on avoiding change, but on harnessing it. This philosophy should guide us going forward—especially in addressing strategic challenges and meeting the demands in the field of education. Education, knowledge, and new technologies are the driving forces that will ensure Armenia’s lasting sustainable development, the well-being of its citizens, economic growth, and an increased level of national security,” President Khachaturyan said.
