Economy Minister Papoyan, UK Ambassador discuss development of Armenian-British economic ties

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on Thursday received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, Alexandra Pamela Cole.
According to the ministry, Minister Papoyan congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished her success in further developing and expanding relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom.
Papoyan expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries would continue to strengthen on the solid foundation of mutual trust and partnership.
During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities to deepen Armenian-British economic ties, steps aimed at advancing trade and economic relations and the implementation of new initiatives.
They also touched upon regional priorities, including the TRIPP program, which serves as an important platform for expanding investment opportunities and strengthening cooperation.
According to the Ambassador, the United Kingdom is ready to intensify cooperation with Armenia, raising economic and investment collaboration to a new level.
