Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday that he has been maintaining regular contact with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, especially since the initialing of the peace agreement on August 8.
In response to a question from Armenpress during a press briefing, the Prime Minister said that during his most recent meeting with Aliyev—held at the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace—they discussed the provisions of previously issued statements.
“Our contacts with the President of Azerbaijan are regular in nature. Especially following the establishment of peace on August 8, these interactions have become more regular. As long as no specific announcement has been made, it means that it is a working discussion within the framework of earlier statements,” Pashinyan said.
