Prime Minister presents the State Award for Global Contribution to High Technologies to Vincent Roche

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the 16th award ceremony of the State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to High Technologies.

The event was also attended by President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachaturyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, members of the executive body, and representatives of the high-tech sector.

Prime Minister Pashinyan presented the Armenian State Award for Global Contribution in the High-Tech Sphere to Vincent Roche, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI).

The Prime Minister congratulated Vincent Roche on receiving the award and emphasized the significance of engaging with laureates in shaping government policy.

Emphasizing the role of education, Pashinyan noted that the government provides access to general, higher, and postgraduate education. He underlined that education plays a key role in solving many of challenges from foreign and domestic policy to social and humanitarian issues.

“If we want to address social challenges in Armenia, there is only one way to overcome poverty, that is through education,” the Prime Minister stated.
