Armenian Prime Minister participates in Sharm El Sheikh Summit for Peace

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the Sharm El Sheikh Summit for Peace, also known as the Gaza Peace Summit, at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

President el-Sisi welcomed the attending world leaders, followed by greetings by President Trump.

The summit focused on the next steps in the implementation of the Gaza peace plan.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, U.S. President Donald Trump, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a joint declaration known as the Trump Declaration for Enduring Peace and Prosperity.

President Trump and President el-Sisi then delivered statements.

Representatives from around 30 countries attended the summit.
