Armenian parliamentary delegation attends NATO Parliamentary Assembly autumn session in Ljubljana

The delegation of the National Assembly of Armenia to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, led by Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Affairs, is participating in the autumn session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on October 10–13, 2025, the press service of the Parliament said in a readout.

Marcos Perestrello, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, emphasized that the four-day session would focus on strengthening NATO in line with the decisions adopted by NATO leaders at the June summit in The Hague, including the commitment to allocate 5% of gross domestic product to defense and security-related investments by 2035.

Andranik Kocharyan, along with delegation members Vahagn Aleksanyan and Arusyak Julhakyan, will take part in the work of the Committees on Democracy and Security, Defense and Security, Economy and Security, Political Affairs and Science and Technology, as well as the plenary session.

Arman Israelyan, Head of the Mission of the Republic of Armenia to NATO, is also participating in the four-day session with the Armenian delegation.
