International balloon festival launched in Yerevan

The Discover Armenia from the Sky International Balloon Festival was launched in Yerevan on Friday.

The event is organized by Skyball with support from the Tourism Committee.

This year, 20 hot air balloons are taking to the skies.

The international festival features participants from Armenia, the UAE, the UK, Brazil, Bulgaria, Georgia, Italy, Russia and Japan. The event will run until October 15.

Flights are planned from Yerevan, Garni, and Aparan.

Tickets for hot air balloon flights are available for purchase.
