Armenia, Tajikistan agree to enhance diplomatic engagement

On October 8, in Dushanbe, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda.

Both sides emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation between Armenia and Tajikistan and discussed issues related to high-level contacts, the foreign ministry said in a readout. 

They also addressed cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as in the fields of communication, trade, and culture.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to enhance diplomatic engagement and sectoral cooperation aimed at further deepening and strengthening relations between Armenia and Tajikistan.
