Megerian Carpet Museum hosts cultural tour for diplomatic community

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has held its regular cultural event for foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia at the Megerian Carpet Museum. Secretary General of the Ministry, Davit Karapetyan, delivered the welcoming remarks.

In his speech, Davit Karapetyan emphasized the importance of organizing cultural events that have become a cherished tradition, as well as the value of regular meetings in this format, the foreign ministry said in a press release.

He also expressed gratitude to the management of the Megerian Carpet Museum for hosting the event, highlighting the museum's role in preserving Armenian carpets and the art of carpet weaving.

As part of the event, the foreign diplomats toured the museum, learned about the ancient art and history of Armenian carpet weaving, took part in a lavash-making master class, and were introduced to the history and symbolism of traditional Armenian cuisine.
