Armenia, NATO discuss deepening partnership at Warsaw Security Forum

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Šekerinska on the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum 2025.

According to a readout from the Foreign Ministry, FM Mirzoyan and Deputy Secretary General Šekerinska discussed “opportunities for enhancing the Armenia–NATO partnership, highlighting interest in developing a more ambitious agenda.”

The parties welcomed the recent visit to Yerevan by ambassadors of NATO member states, as well as Armenia’s continued participation in NATO peacekeeping missions.

“Addressing regional developments, the sides exchanged views on the importance of the Washington Accords in establishing peace, and on the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity connectivity project,” the ministry added.
