Romanian FM expresses support for Armenia-Azerbaijan comprehensive normalization

Romania remains firmly committed to supporting Armenia’s stability, resilience, and democratic development, the Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Toiu said after her first meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
The meeting took place during High-Level Week of UNGA.
“I had my first official meeting with the Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan on the UNGA80 margins,” the Romanian foreign minister said. “Romania remains firmly committed to supporting Armenia’s stability, resilience, and democratic development, both bilaterally and within the multilateral framework. We strongly advocate for regional peace, dialogue, and the comprehensive normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I look forward to building a strong, pragmatic partnership between Romania and Armenia to the benefit of both our countries & the entire South Caucasus region. Strongly support the continuous development of Armenia's relations with the EU, in the interest of regional stability, peace and prosperity.”
