Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Foreign Minister of Uganda Jeje Odongo during the UN General Assembly High-Level Week in New York.
The foreign ministers discussed opportunities for developing bilateral relations.
Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing a legal framework, promoting business ties, and fostering cooperation in the field of innovative education, the Armenian foreign ministry said in a press release.
In the context of cooperation in education, Minister Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s readiness to provide training at the Diplomatic School of the Republic of Armenia, as well as scholarships at higher educational institutions.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Uganda also exchanged views on regional developments. FM Jeje Odongo welcomed the August 8 Washington accords.
