President Khachaturyan, Bartholomew I discuss cooperation on Christian heritage preservation

During his working visit to New York, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, Archbishop of Constantinopl, the Presidential Office said.

The sides discussed possibilities of cooperation in the preservation of Christian cultural heritage. They emphasized the importance of protecting cultural values of universal significance, highlighting their relevance and global importance.

They also touched upon humanitarian activities and cooperation in that sphere. President Khachaturyan highly appreciated His Holiness' humanitarian efforts and readiness to continue work in that direction.
