Economic activity in the first eight months of 2025 grew by 7.1% compared to the same period last year, according to the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
Below is the year-over-year (YoY) data for January–August 2025:
According to the official data, only industrial production output recorded a decrease (7.8%), amounting to more than 1.7 trillion drams.
Construction grew by 20.4% and amounted to 374.8 billion drams.
Trade turnover stood at more than 4.1 trillion drams — a growth of 3.9%.
Services grew by 10.2%, amounting to nearly 2.6 trillion drams.
The consumer price index increased by 3.2%.
The industrial production price index grew by 2.8%.
Electricity production increased by 3.6% (nearly 6 billion kilowatt-hours). (This figure does not include the volume produced by autonomous producers.)
