UNGA High-Level Week: Armenian, Swiss foreign ministers hold meeting

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Ignazio Cassis, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, during UNGA High-Level Week in New York.
The foreign ministers highlighted that the active political dialogue between the two countries is a solid foundation for partnership in various platforms, including within the framework of Switzerland’s chairmanship at the OSCE, the foreign ministry said in a press release.
“In the context of regional developments, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of unblocking connections based on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement that was initialed on August 8 in Washington and fundamental principles,” the foreign ministry said.
Other issues of humanitarian nature were also discussed.
