Armenian, French FMs discuss cooperation, regional issues

On the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.

The ministers discussed initiatives aimed at deepening Armenian-French relations, in line with the vision and political will to develop a strategic partnership between the two countries.

They also addressed cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, as well as on multilateral platforms.

Addressing regional issues, Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia highly values France's support for democratic reforms and initiatives aimed at strengthening peace in the region.
