Yerevan, Tbilisi mayors discuss cooperation

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan met with his Georgian counterpart, Mayor Kakha Kaladze, during his working visit to Tbilisi, Avinyan said on Facebook.
“The centuries-old friendship and neighborhood between the two peoples have today also turned into effective cooperation between the two capitals,” he said.
“Yerevan attaches great importance to the development of relations with Tbilisi.
During the meeting, we discussed the directions that could become the basis for a mutually beneficial and effective partnership, contributing to the development of our cities and improving the quality of life of our citizens.”
Avinyan also highlighted a special event, noting that the Yerevan Youth Orchestra will perform at the Rustaveli State Theater in Tbilisi, dedicated to the anniversary of Armenia's independence.
