Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been re-elected as Chairman of the Board of the ruling Civil Contract Party.
The vote to elect the chairman, as well as the members of the board, took place during the party congress on September 20.
Pashinyan was elected Chairman with 758 votes. He was also elected as a member of the board with 826 votes.
Other elected members of the board include, among others, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, MP Vahagn Alexanyan, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, MP Hayk Konjoryan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office Arayik Harutyunyan, Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan, Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Arsen Torosyan, and Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
