The ideology of "Real Armenia" has made peace possible, Prime Minister, Chairman of the Civil Contract party board Nikol Pashinyan said at the party congress.
Pashinyan recalled that in the 2021 snap parliamentary elections, his party entered the campaign with a standard military-patriotic program but shifted course after listening to the people, the mothers of large families. According to Pashinyan, this experience reshaped the party's political thinking and strategy.
"That, of course, did not happen in a day or even in a year,” Pashinyan said.
He stressed that the change was the result of three long years.
"It was through those years that the ideology of "Real Armenia" emerged, which became life-giving and peace-giving for the Republic of Armenia. That ideology made possible the peace that we have today,” the Prime Minister noted, adding that “peace is, of course, a two-way process''.
