FM Mirzoyan meets with President and Registrar of International Criminal Court

On September 17, in The Hague, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with President of the International Criminal Court Tomoko Akane and the Court’s Registrar Osvaldo Zavala Giler, the foreign ministry said.

The interlocutors exchanged views on cooperation between Armenia and the ICC, as well as on engagement in international efforts aimed at upholding international law and ensuring the rule of law.

During the meeting the ongoing work to improve national legislation in accordance with the provisions of the Rome Statute, as well as the existing opportunities for capacity building were also touched upon.
