Construction grew by 20.2% in the first seven months of 2025 (January–July), amounting to over 293.3 billion drams, according to official data published by the Statistical Committee.
46.4% of the total construction was carried out by construction companies — a growth of 18.1% compared to the same period in 2024 — while 25% was carried out by individuals, marking a 16.4% increase.
24.3% was carried out through state budget funding, representing a 30.9% growth.
Only 4% was municipally funded, with growth amounting to 23.3%.
The share of foreign investment-funded construction amounted to just over 1 billion drams, which still represents a significant 79.8% increase.
