Three healthcare facilities have been fully renovated and commissioned this year in Yerevan, according to Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
“We plan to fully renovate six more healthcare centers as well,” he said at a press conference. “The renovation of the healthcare center in the Nor Marash district is now in its final stage.”
He added that the funding issue for the ambulance service has been resolved.
“We’ve carried out a revitalization program, and we are now able to acquire new ambulance vehicles every year. This year, the ambulance fleet will receive seven new vehicles,” Avinyan said.
The city has achieved 100% efficiency in the ambulance call center, he noted.
Avinyan also said that the city is currently in discussions with British partners about the potential construction of a new, multi-profile medical center.
