Parliament Speaker, NATO-accredited envoys discuss regional developments, peace agenda

Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan received NATO-accredited ambassadors visiting Armenia.

The meeting focused on the current state of Armenia-NATO partnership and prospects for further expanding cooperation. Simonyan highlighted the importance of deepening ties with NATO, stressing the need for support in strengthening democratic institutions, upholding the rule of law and enhancing the security system.

According to the press service of the Parliament, the ambassadors reaffirmed NATO's readiness to continue supporting Armenia in implementing reforms, improving governance efficiency and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation across various sectors.

Regional developments and issues related to the peace agenda were also discussed during the meeting.
