The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia has ratified the agreement between the governments of Armenia and Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of migration.
The draft law ratifying the agreement “On Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Field of Migration” received 94 votes in favor and 1 abstention.
The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Cooperation in the Field of Migration was signed on April 15, 2024, in Yerevan.
Under its provisions, the parties plan to establish, on the basis of reciprocity, fast and effective procedures for regulating the migration sector, aiming to create a legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
