Armenian officials, World Bank team discuss Public Sector Modernization Project

First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, Gevorg Mantashyan, has met with a World Bank team led by Arman Vatyan and Khuram Farooq to discuss the Fourth Public Sector Modernization Project (PSMP IV) and opportunities for digitization in the South Caucasus.

The overall progress of PSMP IV was discussed, the ministry said in a readout.

Issues pertaining to the development of digital infrastructures, cybersecurity, data mapping and classification process and opportunities for applying cloud services were discussed. The next steps for the efficient implementation of the program were also addressed.

Mantashyan lauded the continual cooperation with the World Bank, highlighting its importance to increasing the efficiency of public sector and promoting digitization processes.
