Armenia’s Sargsyan beats MVL at FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2025

Armenian chess grandmaster Shant Sargsyan has defeated French GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in round 6 of the FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2025.

Sargsyan’s (4 points) next opponent will be Azerbaijan’s Shakhriyar Mamedyarov. 

Iran’s Parham Maghsoodloo is leading the tournament with 5 points.
