First time ever, Armenian prosecutor-general elected to IAP Executive Committee

Prosecutor-General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, has been elected as member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP).
The election took place during the body’s meeting in Singapore on September 9, Vardapetyan’s office said.
Vardapetyan was nominated as member of the IAP Executive Committee during the organization's April 8 meeting in Buenos Aires. Armenia has been a member of the IAP since 1999 but this marks the first time that an Armenian Prosecutor-General was nominated to the Executive Committee.
450 delegates from 80 countries are in Singapore for the 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP).
