Armenian Prime Minister visits Beijing after SCO Tianjin Summit

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his spouse Anna Hakobyan have arrived in Beijing after attending the SCO+ meeting of the SCO Summit in Tianjin.

The Prime Minister’s Office said in a press release that Pashinyan will attend the September 3 parade in Beijing on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII, and have a meeting with Vice President of China Han Zheng.

Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan were welcomed in Beijing by Yan Ying, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Within the framework of the SCO Summit, Pashinyan earlier met with President Xi Jinping. The two leaders announced the Armenian-Chinese Strategic Partnership.
