Armenia sees constructive approach, mutual understanding on SCO membership - Foreign Ministry

Armenia will continue working with interested member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to further develop mutually beneficial partnerships with the organization, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan has said.
Responding to an Armenpress inquiry, Badalyan noted that Yerevan sees "a sufficiently constructive approach and mutual understanding" regarding Armenia’s membership in the SCO.
“We will not go into the details of the process at this time, but with this understanding, we will continue working with interested SCO member states,” Badalyan stated.
Earlier, media outlets reported that Pakistan had blocked Armenia’s membership bid in the organization.
