Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Russian President's aide for international affairs, Yuri Ushakov has said, according to Izvestia.
According to him, Vladimir Putin will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 1 within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and they will discuss Ukraine and the normalization of the Middle East.
The parties intend to discuss the escalating situation in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus.
