Pakistani Deputy PM welcomes Armenia-Azerbaijan Washington accords

During a telephone conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan welcomed Washington accords signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, calling it “an important milestone toward establishing peace in the region,'' the foreign ministry has said in a statement.

On August 29, Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan  Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

 The two sides discussed the issue of establishing diplomatic relations between Armenia and Pakistan.
