FM highlights ‘important’ phone call with Pakistani counterpart

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has highlighted his ‘important’ phone call with Pakistan’s foreign minister Ishaq Dar during which the two agreed to consider establishing diplomatic ties.

“Had an important call with [Deputy Prime Minister] DPM & FM H.E. Ishaq Dar today. Following recent developments & in line with the vision of cooperative engagement both bilaterally & on multilateral platforms, we discussed establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia & Pakistan,” Mirzoyan said in a post on X.

The Pakistani FM had likewise said on X that the establishment of diplomatic relations was discussed in the call.
