Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that he intends to visit Russia at the end of September.
“I am glad that they expect me in Russia,” he said, referring to remarks by a Russian official who said that they expect the Armenian PM to pay a visit. “I know that I am awaited in Russia, I always look forward to paying a visit. As you can see, we have a practice of rather active mutual visits. Indeed, such a visit is expected soon, at the end of September. But before that visit, I will have a chance to speak with the Russian President in Beijing, and we had a phone call this month,” he said, when asked by reporters about a possible visit.
Pashinyan is expected to travel to Beijing for the China 2025 victory day parade where multiple foreign leaders will be in attendance.
