Economic activity index grows 7%

The economic activity index of Armenia grew 7% in January-July 2025 compared to the same period of 2024, according to the Statistical Committee.

Below is the YoY data for January-July.

Industrial production output dropped 9,8% and amounted to more than 1,5 trillion AMD.

Construction grew 20,2%, amounting to 293,3 billion AMD.

Trade turnover increased 3,9% and amounted to more than 3,5 trillion AMD.

Services increased 10,6% - 2,1 trillion AMD.

The consumer price index grew 3,2%, while the industrial production price index increased 2,5%. Electricity production increased 2,1%.

Foreign trade turnover dropped 41,4% and amounted to 11,5 billion USD (Exports dropped 48,3% while imports dropped 35,8%).
