Armenian Ambassador to Japan presents credentials to Emperor Naruhito

On August 20, Ambassador of Armenia to Japan Monika Simonyan presented her credentials to Emperor Naruhito of Japan.

Emperor Naruhito congratulated Ambassador Simonyan on the assumption of her duties, wishing her success in initiatives aimed at strengthening the friendly relations between Armenia and Japan, the foreign ministry said in a press release.

Ambassador Simonyan conveyed to the Emperor of Japan the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The ceremony, which took place at the Imperial Palace, was also attended by Junko Mihara, the Minister of State for Policies related to Children, Measures for Declining Birthrate, Youth Empowerment, and Gender Equality, with whom the Ambassador had a brief conversation.
