Russian oil flow to Hungary restored after attack on Druzhba pipeline

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has said that the Russian Druzhba oil pipeline has resumed operations.

“Oil deliveries to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline have been restored after the Ukrainian attack two days ago,” he said on X. “I thanked Russian DepMin Sorokin for the swift repairs. We expect Ukraine not to strike this vital pipeline again. This is not our war. Hungary must be left out of it!”

Russian crude oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline were halted on Monday with Budapest blaming a Ukrainian attack on a part of the network. This prompted Hungary to threaten Kyiv with electricity cut.
