Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan received Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi, Vice President and Head of the Planning and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Grigoryan’s office has said.
Welcoming the guest, Grigoryan described the meeting as a valuable opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest and highlighted the importance of the official visit of the Iranian presidential delegation to Armenia.
The sides discussed Armenia-Iran bilateral relations and regional developments, stressing the importance of unblocking regional communications based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity.
Grigoryan reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to deepen relations with Iran, emphasizing the significant potential in the trade and economic sphere. It was agreed to organize discussions through working groups to ensure more effective and constructive solutions to key issues.
