Trump departs for Alaska ahead of summit with Putin

US President Donald Trump has left for Anchorage, Alaska, to participate in a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump did not speak to reporters before boarding the plane. He turned and waved just before entering, NBC News reported.

Ahead of his departure, the president wrote in a post on Truth Social, "HIGH STAKES!!!"
