Yeremyan Farm Hosts German Ambassador to Armenia

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia, Claudia Busch, and Deputy Ambassador Lars Hennig visited the Yeremyan Group’ smart farm in the Tashir community of Lori Province. Operating under the “From Seed to Table” concept, the farm is the largest of its kind in Armenia and unique in the region.

Welcoming the guests, David Yeremyan, Founder and General Director of the Yeremyan Group, presented the farm’s operations, including its closed cycle production for 100% pure Grade A milk and the production of premium dairy products.

“We introduce natural, high-quality dairy products to the public, fostering a culture of milk consumption and healthy habits. Through our agricultural projects, we promote smart and green farming, we are engaged in community development, and contribute to food security in Armenia. European, especially German, agricultural expertise has been invaluable to us. We maintain strong ties with Germany: we represent the renowned German brand GEA in Armenia, our purebred Holstein cows are imported from Germany, we work with German consultants, and, most importantly, we follow German discipline and quality standards,” said Mr. Yeremyan, emphasizing the importance of practical learning and experience exchange with Germany in the agricultural sector.

Ambassador Busch praised the Yeremyan Group’s contribution to Armenia’s agricultural development, highlighting the innovative “From Seed to Table” business model, adherence to high European standards, promotion of green and eco-friendly farming, and production of top-quality dairy products from the company’s own natural milk.

During the tour, the delegation explored the entire production process - from growing feed in the farm’s own fields to collecting and transporting milk through a closed cycle to the Yeremyan Dairy Factory in Yerevan, the only dairy facility in Armenia certified with the FSSC 22000 international food safety standard.

At the conclusion of the visit, Ambassador Busch participated in the Yeremyan Dairy Container Takeback Program by returning her used dairy containers and supporting environmental protection and the advancement of green agriculture.
