Armenia’s Vache Hovakimyan wins gold at European U16 Rapid Chess Championship

Armenia’s Vache Hovakimyan has won gold at the European U16 Rapid Chess Championship. He scored 7.5 points out of 9, finishing one point ahead of the runner-up, the Armenian Chess Federation said in a press release.

Meanwhile, Manvel Arakelyan won the bronze medal at the European U14 Rapid Chess Championship. He scored 7 points out of 9 and shared 1st-3rd places, finishing 3rd on tie-break.
