Armenian Finance Minister meets with World Bank officials

Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan has met with World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce and the new Country Manager for Armenia Fabrizio Zarcone.

Minister Hovhannisyan congratulated Zarcone on his appointment as country manager and emphasized the importance of deepening the cooperation between Armenia and the World Bank and elevating it to a new, more effective level, the ministry said in a press release.

The course of ongoing reforms as part of the Development Policy Operation (DPO) and the work toward its efficient implementation were discussed.

The officials also discussed several projects as part of the Armenia-World Bank cooperation that are currently under discussion and possible directions of further development.
