Azeri military fires at excavator engaged in construction work in Syunik

On August 4, at approximately 1:10 p.m., units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on an excavator engaged in construction work on inter-position roads, located 4,500 meters northeast of the Verishen settlement in the Syunik Province, the defense ministry has said in a statement.

There were no casualties reported.

We urge the Azerbaijani side to conduct an investigation into the shelling and to provide public explanations.
