Armenian President to attend Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries

President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, will visit Turkmenistan from 4 to 7 August to attend the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Awaza, his office announced on Monday.
He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with foreign partners.
According to the UN, the conference presents an opportunity to forge meaningful partnerships aimed at unlocking the potential of landlocked developing countries.
The first such conference was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 28–29 August 2003, and this event is convened once every decade.
