UEFA Conference League qualifiers: Ararat-Armenia enters third round

Yerevan’s Ararat-Armenia defeated the Romanian U Cluj 2:1 in the 2nd leg match of the UEFA Conference League qualification round 2 at the Cluj Arena.

The first leg ended 0:0 earlier in July.

U. Cluj’s Jovo Lukić opened the score in the 13th minute.

Ararat-Armenia’s Kamo Hovhannisyan equalized the score after half-time.

The match went into extra time and Ararat-Armenia’s Paul Ayongo scored the winning goal in the 117th minute.

Ararat-Armenia will face AC Sparta Prague in the third round.
